Installation Guide
Please print this installation

it will help you install SpaceCAD |
Note: To install SpaceCAD under
Windows NT 4.0, 2000 or XP, you must be logged on as administrator.
- Close all Windows programs. If you have an older
version of SpaceCAD installed, please uninstall it first.
- Double-click on the downloaded file (spacecad4.exe)
- Answer “This will install SpaceCAD…”
by clicking on “Yes”
- On the welcome screen, click on Next
- Read the license agreement carefully. If you agree
to the conditions, then click on Yes. Select a folder where you
want to install SpaceCAD to (default: C:\Program Files\SpaceCAD)
and click on Next.
- Select if you want to have a quick-start button
on your desktop and click on Next.
- SpaceCAD is then installed on your PC.
- To start SpaceCAD, click on Start -> Programs
-> SpaceCAD -> SpaceCAD
- Enter the data about yourself. You have to enter
your name and the registration key that is supplied with SpaceCAD
– either by email or as a sticker in the CD-box.
Note: If you leave this field empty, you install the SpaceCAD
trial version that will run 30 days.
Click on OK to start SpaceCAD
Network Installation
To install SpaceCAD, you need to have local admin
rights. You must install SpaceCAD on every computer.
To run SpaceCAD, users require these rights:
Read/write access for key and sub keys of
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\spacecad.com
Read access for key and sub keys of
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\spacecad.com
We advise you to read the
quick start manual supplied on the SpaceCAD CD (you can
launch it from the SpaceCAD Start menu) |
