SpaceCAD only charges for upgrades if there are siginificant changes (which is reflected in a change in the version number).
Still you will get a free upgrade to the new version if you bought SpaceCAD up to six months before the new release comes out*.
After that, you will still get the upgrade for a reduced
price.
